Dan Harney - Managing Director
In Dan’s role as Managing Director, he provides hands-on leadership across Transcend Mobility's projects.
Dan’s deep technical expertise has developed over more than 20 years working in private and public sector roles both in Australia and internationally.
Dan is an industry-leading expert in the area of demand forecasting and transport model development and application. He is also passionate about technology and the future of mobility and skilled at communicating technical and non-technical information to diverse audiences.
Over his career he has led a wide range of transport planning, infrastructure assessments and transport analysis tool developments including the planning of significant urban and regional infrastructure policy changes, projects and programs across public transport, road, freight and active transport modes in Australia and internationally.
Dan holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering, a Masters of Transport and a Masters of Data Science Strategy and Leadership as well as being a Chartered Engineer (CPEng), Fellow of Engineers Australia and RPEQ.
